Memorial visitation for Sharon L. Reifschneider, 70, a resident of Buffalo Grove since 1969 will be held on Saturday, February 4th from 2:00pm until the time of the memorial service at 4:00pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. The interment will be private.
Sharon was born on June 3, 1941 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of the late Donald and June (VanAlten) O’Sullivan and passed away peacefully on Friday, January 27th at the Pepper Family Hospice Home in Barrington after fighting a short term courageous battle with cancer.
Sharon had a great love for children. Over the past 10 years she operated a home day care center watching and caring for many children whom she absolutely adored.
Beloved wife of 46 years of Richard Reifschneider; loving mother of Kelly Wertz, Timothy (Cindy) Wertz, Doreen (Jim) Spizzirri and Richard (Laura) Reifschneider, Jr, and the late Anthony and Cindy Wertz; cherished grandmother of Shaulene Stamper, Peter (Jessica), Avery Wertz and Elizabeth Wertz, Rachel, Christina and Jimmy Spizzirri, Richard III, Kayla and Ryan Reifschneider and the late Danielle Wertz; great grandmother of Lauren Stamper; sister of James (JoAnna) O'Sullivan and survived by many other loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated for the American Cancer Society, Illinois Division, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Suite 1200, Chicago, IL 60601.
