Patricia J. Helgesen
Memorial visitation for Patricia “Patti” J. Helgesen, 64, a resident of Crystal Lake since 1986 will be held on Tuesday, October 25th from 3:00pm until the time of the memorial service at 8:00pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. The interment will be private.
Patti was born on December 7, 1946 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late James R. Jr. and Gladys (Clausen) Morrow and passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Northern IL Medical Center in McHenry.
Most important in Patti’s life was the love that she shared with her family.
Beloved wife of 43 years of Kenneth L. Helgesen; loving mother of James (Michelle) Helgesen; dear grandmother of Madilyn Bunda; fond sister of Nancy M. Wright; aunt of Raymond L. (Leslie) Klein, Jr. and James R. Klein; great aunt of Tiffaney (Cain) Kline (This spelling of Kline is correct) and Lindsey Klein; also survived by many other loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated in memory of Patti for the Salvation Army or Illinois Masonic Children’s Home, 441 Ninth Avenue, LaGrange, IL 60525 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
