Charles H. Schnackel
Visitation for Charles H. Schnackel, 78, of Palatine will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home 201 N. Northwest Hwy. Palatine. The funeral services and interment will be private.
Mr. Schnackel passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia and lovingly raised five children.
Constance (Gary) Phelps, Cynthia (Richard) Neumann, Cheryl (Mark) Siwietz, Charles (Pamela) Schnackel & Christopher (Vicky) Schnackel.
Together they cherished their nine grandchildren, R.J., Chas, Mark, Kenney, Ali, Ryan, Matt, Katie and Tommy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Charles was the owner of Palatine Heating and Cooling for 47 years. When not working, he enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears and showing his mustang cars at auto shows.
