Beverly L. Moss
The funeral service for Beverly Leah (nee Bolin) Moss, 88, of Palatine for 55 years, will begin at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2035 N. Windsor Dr., Arlington Hts., where she will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Bishop David Wright will officiate.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 2, 2012 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.
Born November 12, 1923 in Barrington, IL, she passed away peacefully, Friday, December 30, 2011 at the Arlington Rehabilitation and Living Center, Long Grove.
Beverly was a longtime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints, Arlington Heights 1st Ward. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. She also enjoyed jazz and animals. Most of all, her family was most important to her.
Beverly was the loving mother of Sharon (Richard Charles) Holloman, Dianne (Dr. Gary) Matravers, David Moss, Doreen (Owen) West and Steven (Karen) Moss; loving grandmother of 26; loving great-grandmother of 60; and loving great-great-grandmother of Andrew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Wayne Moss; parents, Roy and Ruth (nee Garbisch) Bolin; and sister, Annette Remington.
