He was an avid bowler and loved spending time with his family. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was very honored when he was selected to be on the Honor Flight to Washington D.C. that carried a plane load of WWII and Korean War vets. He loved trains and going to dance competitions to watch his grand-daughter Nicole perform. He was lucky enough to take a cross country train trip to California to watch her compete. Bill loved Chicago sports and was able to see his beloved Cubs win it all in 2016.
