William “Bill” J. Johnson

A Visitation will be held for William “Bill” James Johnson, 77, of Palatine for 36 years,Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  Prayers will be said Wednesday, July 9, 2014, 9:30 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass, 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church, 1201 E. Anderson Drive, Palatine.  The Interment will be private.

William was born November 21, 1936 in Chicago and he passed away July 3, 2014.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy M. Johnson (nee Kopanski); children, Kevin Johnson, Karin Howard, Jeffrey Johnson, Brett (Laura) Johnson and Kirsten (Derek) Esibill; grandchildren, Casey Howard, Zachary Johnson, Chelsea Howard, Kaiolohia Esibill and Ariana Esibill; sister, Linda (late Harry) King; and brother Stanley (Nancy) Johnson.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Estelle (nee Sroka) Johnson; and his sisters, Gayle Arellano and Pamela Johnson.
