Wayne M. Turcotte

Wayne was born in Fort Fairfield, Maine on December 10, 1951, to Alfred and Florence Turcotte. He passed away peacefully at home in Mount Prospect, Illinois on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, after a long battle with cancer.

Wayne was the beloved husband to Lori; and devoted father to Wayne Jr. (Kelly), and Brian. Loving step-father of Alexandra (Matthew), Gus (Dali), and Peter (Jessica); Adored grandfather (“Baka”) of Nolan and Zoe. Warmly regarded and loved as a brother by George and Terra Lea, and considered an Uncle to the Ali families. He was loved deeply, cherished by all, and will be profoundly missed.

Wayne was proud to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1968-1974. After serving in the military, he excelled in his careers in carpentry and construction, where he made close, lifelong friends. Wayne was passionate about building and flying model airplanes, fishing, aviation, automobiles and boats. He thoroughly enjoyed these passions with friends from his hobby groups, and was always eager to share his interests with his loved ones.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
