Walter R. Williams

Graveside Services for Walter “Wally” R. Williams, 83, of Crystal Lake, formerly of Palatine and Jefferson Park, Chicago, will be held Thursday, November 5, 2020, 1:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.

Wally was born September 26, 1937 and he passed away November 2, 2020.

He was the beloved husband of Judith C. Williams (nee Milwer); loving father of Kelly (Gary) Buccilli and Patricia “Patty” (Mark) Studtmann; loving grandfather of Lindsay Studtmann and Jenna Studtmann; dear son of the late Walter Sr. and Alice (nee Barrett) Williams; and fond brother of the late Ted Dozois.

Wally worked for Northern Trust for over 30 years and raised his daughters in Jefferson Park, Chicago.  He was a lifelong Chicago sports fan.  His sense of humor was great and his positive, charismatic charm left a mark on everyone he met.
