Services for Veronica V. Heineman (Schultz), 90, will be held at the St. Joseph’s Home chapel, 80 W. Northwest Highway, Palatine, IL on March 14th at 11:00 am. Luncheon to follow in the auditorium. Flowers are welcome, as well as donations to St. Joseph’s Home for the Elderly, the home that she loved.
Veronica passed away peacefully on March 5, 202, at St. Joseph’s Home for the Elderly in Palatine, IL. She was born February 15, 1936, in Chicago, IL to Stanley and Veronica (Spyhalski) Schultz.
Loving Mother to Clyde (Bozenna), Dennis (Ellen), Mark (Veronica), Kenneth, Veronica (Marvin) Seip, Donald (Francesca). Preceded in death by her sons Michael and Stephen and her sisters Monica and Rita. Fond Grandmother to Maria, Christopher (Andreanna), Kevin, Jennifer, Alison (Steve), Robert, Stefanie, Amalia (Armin), Joseph, Stephen and Lexi. Great Grandmother to Reid, Grey, Natalie, Cole and Sophia. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
When her children were young, Veronica enjoyed volunteering at school, church and scouting. An artist at heart, she had a talent for calligraphy, drawing and making ceramics. She found joy in crocheting hats and blankets for children through Project Linus. Veronica was passionate about her jigsaw puzzles and gifted her finished puzzles to friends and staff at St. Joseph’s Home where she also loved playing bingo and Scrabble. Above all else Veronica’s family were her whole world and she cherished every moment with them.
