A Celebration Of Life Service for Thomas P. Wendel, 63, will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1235 Wilmette Avenue, Wilmette, IL, 60091; with visitation prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Thomas was born July 19, 1955 in Chicago and passed away March 18, 2019 at JourneyCare Hospice in Glenview.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Jan; daughter, Amanda Edwards, stepson, Eric Beretta; 8 grandchildren; mother, Dena Wendel; brothers, Bill and John; sister, Joanne; and many nieces and nephews.
Thomas was preceded in death by his stepson, Kevin Beretta.
Memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
