Thomas F. Logan

Visitation for Thomas Francis Logan, 89, of Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Prayers will be said Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, Lake Zurich, proceeding to the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich for a 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass. The Interment will follow in Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville.

Thomas passed away peacefully in his home Sunday, June 15th. Thomas will be remembered as a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was always in good cheer and had a smile for everyone. He enjoyed time with his family, friends, and was a devout catholic.

Thomas graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with an undergraduate degree in Business. He went on to obtain an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago. Thomas was regarded as a talented manager by his peers and retired as the Director of Employee and Industrial Relations of Komatsu Dresser Company. Thomas was always actively giving back to his community. Just a few examples include fostering dozens of children with his wife Terrie, and participating in meals on wheels.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 69 years, Terrie; children Thomas (Mary), Michael (Linda), Brian (Julie), and Richard; grandchildren, Thomas, Kate, Daniel (Beki), Lucan (Aneta), Wren (Kale), MacKenzie (Danielle), Erin (Devin), Liam (Malaurie), Ian (Emily); great-grandchildren, Evelina, Rosalina, Behati, Claire, Henry, Link, Gavin, Tucker, and his brother, Jack. Thomas was also dearly loved by Kathleen, Laurie, and Irene.

He is predeceased by his parents Michael and Margaret; son, Anthony St. Jude; and siblings, Michael, Kate, Peg and Patsy.
