Thomas G. Kowalski

Visitation for Thomas G. Kowalski, 52, of Lake Zurich will be from 2:00pm until 9:00pm on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Ahlgrim Family Funeral  Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Prayers will be said at 9:30am Friday at the funeral home, proceeding to St. Francis de Sales Church 33 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich for a Funeral Mass at  10:00am.  The interment will be in St.  Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, IL.  Thomas passed away after a 5 ½ year  battle with Multiple Myeloma and in his final years he was an ambassador educating others about living with this disease.  He graduated from DePaul University in Chicago and was a member of multiple organizations involving sport, academics and diversity.  He was also an  educational consultant for professional athletes.  Thomas was the beloved husband of Diane  (nee Schneider); father of Tommy, Drew and Alli; brother of Julie Segoviano; fond uncle of many.  He was proceeded in death by his parents Thomas and Mary Kowalski.
