Steven B. Berg

A Celebration of Life for Steven Bradley Berg, age 59, of Lake Zurich, Illinois, will be held at a later date.

Steve passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Laura and his devoted daughter, Sydney, son of Edith, brother of Craig (Kris), half brother to Mitch and Jme, uncle to Andrew (McKenzie) and Tyler. Steve is preceded in death by his father, Jeffrey Berg.

Steve was a very kind and generous person who enjoyed telling stories and jokes. He was a wonderful friend to many and enjoyed being outdoors, barbecuing, listening to classic rock and spending time with his pets.

An avid Chicago sports fan, Steve was incredibly knowledgeable of all types of sports trivia and statistics. There were no games or drafts that he wouldn’t watch. A sports memorabilia collector, he loved to display his collection of different sporting events, games and players.

His warmth, kindness and joyful nature will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the American Diabetes Association.
