Stanley Conning

Memorial Services for Stanley Conning, 86, of Arlington Heights, will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N. Dunton Avenue, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004.

Stan was born September 29, 1935, in San Francisco, California, and passed away, November 10, 2021, in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Stan was the beloved husband of Nancy Conning (nee Miller); loving father of Susan (Todd) Garrison and Mark Conning, dear son of the late Daniel and Veda (nee Young) Conning; and brother of Keith Conning.

Stan was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church for about 50 years, serving on the church council, as an usher and as the coordinator for the aluminum can drive fundraiser.  He spent most of his career with Spotnails, selling industrial tools and fasteners in San Francisco before moving to Portland, Ore., and eventually to the Chicago suburbs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated for the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights.
