Shirley M. Veesenmeyer

Visitation for Shirley May Veesenmeyer, 93, of Lake Zurich, formerly of Deerfield, will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  The Interment will take place at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines.

Shirley was born on January 11, 1928, in Chicago and passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021, in Lake Zurich.

She was an artist at Main Street Art Center in Lake Zurich.

Shirley was the loving wife of the late Robert W.; mother of Jeffrey (Joy), Jan (Patrick) Oswald and Lise Veesenemeyer; grandmother of Carrie (Daniel), Patrick (Pamela), Ryan, Lindsey, Christopher (Susannah) and Bailey; great grandmother of Nolan, Bradley, Kinsley, Sadie, Maisy and Gus; sister of the late Creighton Johnson.
