Visitation for Sarah M. Hall, 89, of Algonquin, formerly of Palatine, will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 Noon at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL. The Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.
Sarah was born on March 2, 1936, to Rocco and Emelia Bruno. She passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025.
Sarah grew up in Chicago and was the youngest of four siblings to immigrant parents. In her youth she loved to attend dances where she met Robert Hall and fell in love. They were married in 1956 and spent almost 41 years together raising their two children.
Sarah had a long career as an Executive Assistant that she retired from after 35 years. Outside of work, she loved to go for long walks, go to Zumba classes where she loved to bust out her own moves, and attend church every Sunday.
Sarah was always down for an adventure, especially if it involved her grandchildren - from vacations to days long cheer competitions, it never mattered to her, as long as she was with her family. She rocked a babushka and always had gum to hand out.
Sarah was the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Hall; loving mother of the late Richard (Kim) Hall and Lisa (Frank) McKee; cherished grandmother of: Elizabeth (Dominic) Ramirez, Eric (Rebecca) Hall, Anthony (Kayla) McKee, Amanda (Scott) Sola, and Morgan (Nicholas) Sherman. She is survived by her brother Albert (the late Louise) Bruno and many loving great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rocco and Emelia Bruno; her husband, Robert Hall; her son, Richard Hall; her brother, Edward Bruno; sister-in-law Frances Bruno; her sister Rosemarie Metallo; and her brother-in-law William Metallo.
