Sandra L. Rogalski

Visitation for Sandra L. Rogalski (nee Anzelmo), of Hawthorn Woods, IL, will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Sandra was born on October 18, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois and passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

Sandy was an amazing mother, loving daughter, beloved sister, aunt and cousin. She had 100s of friends from all stages of her life.  She was generous, kind and an effortless hostess. She loved to have holidays, dinners and parties for her friends, neighbors and her sons' friends.  She was an amazing cook, athlete and had an incredible sense of style. She was active with her sons’ schools/teams and loved to be their photographer.  She was a superhero and battled her cancers with class, grace and grit. To say she will be greatly missed would be an understatement.

Sandy was the proud mom of Michael and Vincent; beloved daughter of Joseph and Josephine Anzelmo; dear sister of Sam Polito (Marianne) and Roseann Scorpio; dear aunt to Ralph, Michael, Maureen, Joseph, Harrison, Madison and Mya; and loving cousin to Kevin Polito and Samantha (Brett) Stuard.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
