Roland W. Gustafson

A Memorial Visitation for Roland W. Gustafson, 88, of Palatine, will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  The Interment will be private.

He was born in Rockford, Illinois and attended Rockford East High School.  Roland worked for Illinois Bell Telephone for 20 years and Northern Telecom for 19 years.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gail A. Gustafson (nee Chamberlain); children, Jodi Markley, Beth Gustafson, and Amy Gustafson; six Grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Annie Gustafson; and sister, Lois Anderson of Rockford, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to the Palatine Food Pantry.
