Robin C. Foderaro

March 11, 1951 — September 2, 2022

Visitation for Robin Charlotte Foderaro (nee Quedens), 71, of Lake Zurich since 1988, will be held Thursday, September 8, from 3:00 to 8:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. A private family Interment will be held at Lake Zurich Cemetery.

Robin was born March 11, 1951 in Chicago to Frank and Ann Marie (nee Kunkel) Quedens. She passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 2, 2022 at home.

Robin was the beloved wife of Francis F. Foderaro for 52 years; loving mother of Leeann Millar (Chris Franzen), Travis (Jessica), Wesley (Rufina), Wyatt and Cole (Teri); loving grandmother of Julianne and Josephine Millar, Anthony and Drake Foderaro and Lillian Foderaro; fond sister of Terry (Richard) Roth, Judy (Keith) Hansen, Robert (Joy), and Christine (Dave) Krater and adored aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Robin had a lifelong love of horses, gardening, reading, fishing trips in Canada and laughing. After meeting Fran in the spring of 1967, she graduated from Maine East High School in 1969 and married Fran on August 22, 1970.

In addition to working as a secretary on and off for many years, she was a wonderful homemaker whose favorite line was “You’ll live”.

She was known for searching for rocks everywhere she went.

Fran and Robin were not too creative with dog names when it came to all the beagles they had over the years (too many Busters and Boscos to count), but she loved them all the same.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association, https://www.alz.org/?form=alz_donate
