Robert F. Jones

Robert F. Jones, 86, of Hoffman Estates was born December 20, 1939, in Chicago and passed away March 6, 2026, in Inverness.

A private service will be held to honor Bob’s life.

Robert was the beloved and cherished husband of Janet M. Jones (nee Racette) for 63 years; loving father of Mike (Mary) Jones and Maureen (John) Greene; loving grandfather of Matt (Anna), Jacqueline, Tyler, Caylie and Adam; devoted great-grandfather of Brendan, Liam and Maeve Jones; dear son of the late Howard and Loretta (nee Spoeri) Jones; fond older brother of Chuck (Judy) Jones, Nancy (Larry) Pray and the late Eddie (Ann) Jones and uncle to beloved nieces and nephews.

Bob was a wonderful and kind man with unmatched positivity and appreciation for the little things in life. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family both in the Chicago area and Las Vegas. He had a long and successful career in sales at Kraft Foods. Bob will be greatly missed and always remembered by those who met him.
