Robert, (Pepe), was a wonderful husband for 67 years, he earned the nickname Pepe (aka Pepe Le Pew, from the cartoon introduced in 1945. Depicted as a French striped skunk, Pepé is constantly on the quest for love.) in the service for penning romantic letters to his bride. He was the best father anyone could ask for, and a damn good pilot. He was a devoted Catholic, a charismatic and gifted story teller with a wicked sense of humor and had a laugh that could fill a room. He grew up near Spokane Washington where he enjoyed farm life with his siblings and hunting with his Dad. While he was a math major at Gonzaga, he lost a bet and had to join the Navy. This lead to a long career in aviation ending in 1995 as a Captain with American Airlines. In addition to flying, he held numerous leadership roles including the Safety Committee and Grey Eagles.
Robert is survived by his wife, Loana May (Rensch); children, Cheryl (Rose) Danielle and Michael (Deborah) Lefevre; siblings, Bernadette Pederson, Janet Hugo and Ann Krussel; Grandfather of 8; great grandfather of 23.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Quimby and Evangeline Lefevre and his son, Kenneth Lefevre.
