A Memorial Service and the Inurnment for Mr. Robert G. Rose, 83, a resident of Glenview for more than 50 years, will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2015, 1:00 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 2501 E. Euclid Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL.
Robert was born on October 26, 1932 in Double Springs, Alabama the son of the late Edward and Pauline (nee Howell) Rose and passed away early on Saturday morning December 12, 2015 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington.
Robert was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War.
Beloved husband of the late Verna L. (nee Frantz) Rose; loving father of Donna R. (Mark) Straessle, and the late Robert G. Rose, Jr.; cherished grandfather Danielle R. Straessle and Kendall R. (Jeffery) Ross; dear brother of Sue Hanrath, Rebecca Bobel, Judith (Rick) Alvarez and the late Charles Rose; also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
