Robert F. O’Sullivan

A Memorial Visitation for Robert F. O’Sullivan, 67, of Buffalo Grove, will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Services, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.  The Interment will be held privately.

Bob passed away peacefully at home on December 6, 2021, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.  He was born October 26, 1954, in Arlington Heights.

Bob was a Body Shop Manager for many years at Patrick Cadillac (BMW) in Schaumburg.  Prior to that he had work at Ladendorf Oldsmobile in Des Plaines.

Bob was a huge Michigan Wolverines fan and was thrilled that he was able to watch them beat Ohio State recently!  He lived in Michigan for many years and has many friends and family there.  Loved to go fishing with his dad and trying new things on his Traeger grill/smoker; and loved his 210-gallon saltwater fish tank!

Robert is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cheryl O’Sullivan (nee Mitrenga); son, Bobby; daughter, Erin (Adam) Villarreal; grandchildren, Jordan and Connor; sister, Mary (Andris) Brende, who lives in Texas; brother, Bill (Janet); and father, William T. O’Sullivan, who both live in Michigan.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Jack (2014); sister, Joyce (2016); mother, Jean (2019); and nephew, Michael, (2021).
