Richard was born on September 2, 1940 to the late Stanley and Fern Nork. He passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023. He was also preceded in death by his younger sister Norma Persful.
Richard graduated from Foreman High School, Chicago in 1960 and enlisted in the army three years later. Between love and work, Richard enjoyed time with cooking, woodworking, metal working, gardening, fishing, painting, and repairing the many things broken by his children.
Richard was the beloved husband of the late, Sue Ann Nork for almost 30 years; loving father of Martin (Ex Jenn) Nork, Jennifer (Jared) Cooley: dear grandpa of Dylan Nork, Hunter Nork, Darren Cooley, Tiffany Cooley, Donovan Cooley and Brittany Cooley.
