Richard D. Kuenstler

Richard D. Kuenstler of Palatine, Illinois, died on April 29, 2020 at The Reserve of Arlington Heights in Arlington
Heights, Illinois, at the age of 83. A Memorial Mass and burial will be held at a later date.

Richard was born on January 13, 1937 in Richland County, Illinois, the son of Henry and Georgiana (Rudolphi) Kuenstler. Richard married Jeanette (Hahn) on November 3, 1959 at St Joseph Catholic Church in Stringtown, Illinois and she survives him.

Richard was the Tax Manager at AC Nielson until he retired. He was a parishioner at Holy Family Parish, Inverness Illinois; volunteered with the PADS ministry and was acknowledged by the Knights of Columbus for 60 years of loyal and faithful service with the Knights. Richard was also part of the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree. Richard filled his days with family activities which were his first priority.

Richard is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jeanette Kuenstler of Palatine Ill.; daughter, Joan Sloan and husband Todd of South Barrington, Ill.; son, Jeff Kuenstler and wife Kelly of Villa Park Ill.; and daughter, Amy Aichinger and husband Dave of Palatine, Ill. His grandchildren include Nicole Smith, Heather Sloan, Drew Kuenstler, Zack Kuenstler, Molly Kuenstler, Kyle Aichinger, Ally Aichinger and Madison Aichinger. He is also survived by his sister, Karen (Tom) Zuber; brothers, Jim (Peg), Dan (MaryAnn) and Bill (Rita); and brother in law, Don Dallmier.

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Frederick Kuenstler; sisters, Ruth Bene and husband John, LouAnn Dallmier, June McGeehon and husband Bill, Norma Eugenia; and brother, Fred Kuenstler.
