Penelope Jean Channer who was born February 18th, 1943 left us to see her beloved parents in heaven on October 28, 2019. Penny, who was diagnosed with Crohn’s in her early twenties, was a fighter till the very end. Her spirit never gave out but her body could no longer keep up.

Penny was commissioned by the Smithsonian to create a Christmas tree for their miniature White House and was often featured in Nutshell News (miniature artist publication.)

Penny was a world traveler and has seen places most of use will never see including Russia, Asia, Europe, Africa and may trips to England. She loved traveling and took many extended excursion cruises with her parents.

Penny was very fond of cats especially the Bengal breed for which she had several including her beloved Raja and Cloudy which she will now be reunited with in heaven.

Penny had an incredibly close relationship with her parents Fred and Georganne Channer and took exceptional care of them in their later days.
