Palma Fiore

Visitation for Palma Fiore, 92, of Palatine, will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 Palatine Road, Inverness. An Entombment will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Palma Fiore, beloved wife, mother, nonna, and sister, passed away on October 25, 2025.

She is survived by her sons, Anthony (Christine) and Vito (Rosangela); grandchildren, Alissa (Tyler) Sierzega, Anthony (fiancée Annie Poll), and Mia; great-grandsons, Noah, James, and Luca; as well as her sisters, Catarina Busse, Marisa Recchia, and Carla Pinto.

Born in Mola di Bari, on May 29, 1933, to Isabella and Vito Recchia. She married Antonio Fiore in Pompeii, Italy, before immigrating to Chicago. Palma worked as a seamstress for many fine stores. Her favorite job was being Nonna to her grandkids.

She and her husband traveled back to Italy often and enjoyed many vacations to Florida, Las Vegas, Hawaii, and Wisconsin. She enjoyed pizza parties with her friends, relaxing in the sun, and was known for her amazing focaccia.

Her voice was as fierce as her love for her family. She joins her husband, Antonio, brother, Mario Recchia, and sisters, Anna Padovano, and Rosa Campanella in heaven.
