Otto P. Boehm

Services for Otto P. Boehm, age 97, of Palatine. will be private. Entombment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.

Otto passed away peacefully at home on April 1, 2020.

He is the loving husband of Irene (nee Lang); devoted widower of the late Anne (nee Smith); loving brother of the late Frank (the late Nancy) Boehm and Betty (Joel) Chrastka; father of Joann (Larry) Shell, the late Robert (Annette) Boehm, Daniel Boehm, Carol (Michael) Scanlan, Mary (Michael) Kawarski, Christine (Robert) Cowan and Diane (Neil) Hagen; fond uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many.

Otto proudly served in the Navy during World War II. He retired from Northrop Grumman Corp. in 1987. He enjoyed his retirement years spending time with his family, woodworking, gardening, grilling, vacationing in Las Vegas and on cruises and watching the Bears on TV.
