Michael B. Leahy

Visitation for Michael B. Leahy, 63, of Chicago, will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 Palatine Road, Inverness, IL. 60067 from 9:30 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. The Interment will be private.

Michael was a retired member of Local No. 2 International Association of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) Union, AFL-CIO. He was a strong union man. For over 30 years he worked hard in Chicago theaters, concert venues, television studios and industrial shows. He was a lifelong and devout Cubs (he lived to see the Cubs win the 2016 World Series) Blackhawks, Bulls, Bears and Notre Dame Football fan. In addition, he loved all varieties of music and the arts.

Michael is the beloved brother of Patricia Husen, Timothy (Lisa) Leahy; uncle to Timothy John (TJ) Husen, Michael (Christine) Riley Husen, Michael Edward Leahy and Daniel Patrick Leahy.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents Edward J. and Adelyn Mary Leahy
