Maurice E. Calby

The Services and Interment for Maurice Edward Calby, 89, of Palatine formerly of St. Charles, will be private.

Maurice was born on July 21, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA the son of the late Maurice Edward and Edna (nee Seel) Calby, Sr. and passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015.

Maurice was a WWII Navy Veteran.

Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Reed) Calby; loving father of Christopher (Heather) Calby and Tracy (Marc) Rothmeyer; cherished grandfather of Kellen Calby, Sarah, Emily and Kate Rothmeyer; dear brother of Don (late Dorie) Calby and Tish (Chuck) Hodges; also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated in memory of Maurice for the charity of the donor’s choice.
