Marylin B. Wielgos

Visitation for Marylin B. Wielgos, 88, formerly of Des Plaines, will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home., 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich.  Family and friends will meet for the Funeral and Interment Services at 10:30 AM, Monday, July 11, 2022 inside the gate at Ascension Cemetery, 1920 W Buckley Rd, Libertyville.

Marylin was born on August 23, 1933 to August “Augie” and Mary Kotlarz.  She passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022.

Marylin was the beloved wife of the late Thaddues S. Wielgos, who died on January 5, 2010.  They were married for 52 years.  She was the loving mother of: Marianne (Alan) Lownds, Michael (Peggy) Wielgos, Thaddeus “Todd” (Jennifer) Wielgos, and Kenneth (Lynnette) Wielgos; and dear grandmother of Kyle (Alexandra), Kevin, Amy, Bobby (Anna), Ryan, Sherri, Brett, Brianna, Julie, Brandon and Ashley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or PAWS Chicago.
