Mary L. Duncan

A Memorial Visitation for Mary Lyle Duncan, “Lyle”, age 65, of Palatine, will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine.

Mary died at home on January 29, 2017 after her battle with cancer. She was born in Chicago on October 25, 1951 to parents Carolyn and Robert “Smokey” Moak.

She grew up in Park Ridge and graduated from Maine South High School. Lyle is survived by her three daughters Emily (Blake) Stephan and their two sons Duncan and Hunter, Casey (James) O’Dell, and Sally Duncan.
Mary is also survived by her sisters Leslie Moak Murray and Luann Moak Kreyche. She was our ray of sunshine, a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her.
