Mary L. Graff

Visitation for Mary Lucile Graff, 65, of Palatine, will be held at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 3:00 to 9:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N. Benton Street, Palatine, on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.

Mary passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous six-year battle with cancer. She was born on June 21, 1961, to Marion and the late Thomas Huene. She is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Gary; their daughters, Kathryn (fiancé Nicholas) and Elizabeth (Kevin); her mother, Marion; and her siblings, Thomas (Christine), Michael (Phyllis), and Ann (Michael).

Mary’s family was everything to her. She was a devoted wife to Gary and a loving mother to Kathryn and Elizabeth, who were the center of her world. She was also a dear and cherished friend to so many. Mary will be remembered for her unwavering love, remarkable strength, selflessness, and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her.
