Mark D. Reis

Visitation for Mark D. Reis, 55, of Palatine, will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine from 12:00 PM until the Prayer Service at 3:00 PM. The Interment will be private.

Mark was born on May 25, 1970, to Paul and Elizabeth Reis. He passed away at home on Monday, August 25, 2025.

Mark was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin and eventually moved to Illinois with his parents and his sister. He grew up and went to school in Wheaton. He enjoyed playing soccer when he was in school. Mark enjoyed his job of doing data entry and enjoyed socializing with people and making friends. In April of 2008 he married Marie and in 2012 they moved to Palatine and welcomed into the world a son named Jacob. He loved Jacob very much and was his pride and joy. In his spare time, he loved to watch the Green Bay Packers, Chicago White Sox or the Chicago Blackhawks.

Mark was the beloved husband of Marie Reis; loving father of Jacob Reis; cherished son of Paul and Elizabeth Reis; caring brother of sister, Sara Christian and brother-in-law, Tim Christian and uncle of Hanna and Ellie Cristian.
