Marilyn L. Bark

Services and Interment for Marilyn L. Bark (nee Jackson), age 88, of Lake Barrington, will be private.

Marilyn was born in Clinton, Iowa. She married her high school sweetheart, Donald E. Bark and they were married for 65 years. She was an avid antique doll collector, at one point having over 1,000 and used to give tours to the brownies and Girl Scout troops. She loved all the holidays and would decorate every inch of her home! She loved to travel and read and her favorite spots were Hawaii and Disney World. She belonged to United Federation of Doll Clubs and the Hopple Popple Questers Group.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Kimberly (Jeff) Pennino, Deborah Hawkins; loving grandmother to Matthew Bark, Ryan Bark, Bradley Bark, Marissa (Michael) Mullarkey, Heidi (Todd) Zahalka, Justin (Jordan) Pennino, Molly (Steve) Lollino, Mallory Pennino; dear great grandmother to Cadence Bark, Brayson Mullarkey, Bryson Mullarkey, Nick Zahalka, Benjamin Zahalka, Tyler Zahalka, Brooklyn Schmalzried, Riley Lollino and McKenna Pennino.

She is preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Bark.
