Marilyn J. Smith

Visitation for Marilyn J. Smith (nee Henning), 93, of Palatine, formerly of Chicago, will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass, 11:00 a.m. at the St. Joseph’s Home, 80 W. Northwest highway, Palatine, IL 60067. A private Inurnment will take place at a later date at Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines.

Marilyn was born October 25, 1926 in Oak Park and passed away January 23, 2020 at the St. Joseph’s Home in Palatine.

She was the beloved wife of the late Archie Smith; loving mother of Russell (Carol) Smith , Leslie Lyons, the late Roy Smith; loving grandmother of Brian (Besa), Jason (Evangeline), Jennifer (Andrew), Amanda (Mark) and Jessica; great-grandmother of 9; dear daughter of the late Roy and Mercedes (nee Nelles) Henning ; fond sister of the late Carol, Jackie, Patty and Phyllis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to the Little Sister of the Poor, C/O the St. Joseph’s Home, 80 W. Northwest Highway, Palatine, Illinois 60067.\
