Maria devoted her life to her family and to God.  Growing up in Poland and living through WWII, she came to America to give her family the best life possible and worked hard to provide for her family.  She enjoyed having family gatherings and took pride in seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She attended weekly mass and was overjoyed as soon as a Polish mass was available in the area.  She was one of the first to attend the new Polish mass at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Wauconda, IL.
