Manuel E. Rodriguez

Funeral services for Manuel Edward “Ed” Rodriguez, 82, of Palatine since 1978, will be held at a later date.

He was born February 9, 1938 in New York City, and he passed away May 6, 2020 in Barrington, Illinois.

Manuel (“Ed”) was the beloved husband of Grace I. (nee Dean) Rodriguez; loving father of Robert (Laurie) Clayton, Betsy (Robert) Weiss, Christopher (Sherry) Rodriguez, Andy (Jackie) Rodriguez, Patrick (Linda) Rodriguez, Michael (Lyndsay) Rodriguez (deceased), and Kathy Pfister (deceased); loving grandfather of Faith, Paige, Noah, Evan, Alex, Mason, Averie, David, Ricky, Katey, Heidi, Sean, Brigetta, Max, Olivia, Jason, Rachel, and Michael; dear son of the late Manuel E.B. and Edna (nee Howell) Rodriguez; fond brother of John (Janice) Rodriguez (deceased).

Ed’s greatest joys in life were his grandchildren, gardening and fishing.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
