Memorial Visitation for Lorraine Helen Mack, 96, of Barrington, will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine, IL. The Interment will be private at Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.

Lorraine was born on January 27, 1927 to Anthony and Tillie Boyk. She passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.

Lorraine, a working mother and homemaker loved her family deeply and will be greatly missed. A blue-eyed beauty, Lorraine had impeccable taste and a special flair for wrapping gifts, each year showing up at her children's homes on Christmas Day with mountains of presents much to the delight of her grandchildren. Her eyes would sparkle whenever she was surrounded by her family and she loved watching Westerns, having a martini at supper clubs such as the Black Ram, listening to music, and doting on her beloved Schnauzers, JR Chippers, Buttons, and Duffy.

Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Robert Thomas Mack for 64 years; loving mother of Robert B. (the late Janet E.) Mack, and Gary Thomas (Amy) Mack; dear grandmother of Robert A. (Heather) Mack, Lisa (Sean) Frainey, Laura Durgin, Jennifer (Jeff) MacBeard, Gary Thomas (Kristi) Mack, Jr.; and cherished great-grandmother of Kinsley, Kollyns, Fletcher, George, Eden, Heather (Nick), Jessica (Nick), Shannon (Justin), Katrina (Christian), Danielle, Ashley and Megan; fond great great-grandmother of Quincy, McKenzie, Caleb, Isla, Jacob, Cameron and Sofia.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles Frances Pearson, James Pearson, and Katherine Mack.
