Lois I. Zima

Visitation for Lois I. Zima, 88, of Des Plaines for over 45 years, will be on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 200 N. Plum Grove Road, Palatine, from 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Services at 10:30 AM. An Interment will follow at Windridge Cemetery, Cary.

Lois was born in Barrington, IL on July 8, 1930 to Otto and Edna Dreyer. She passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018.

Lois was a nurse for over 50 years. She was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was very active. In her spare time, she was a Show Chairwomen for the Des Plaines Valley Gem and Mineral Show.

Lois is the beloved wife of William Zima. She is also survived by her brother, Wilmer Dreyer; her nephews, Michael Edwards, David Edwards and John (Tina) Zima; and her nieces, Susan Edwards and Joan Zima.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, Bernhard Dreyer, Ruth (James) Edwards, and Otto Dreyer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
