Lois L. Hastings

Graveside Services for Lois Luella Hastings, 95, of Palatine, will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 11:00am at Randhill Park Cemetery.

Lois was born on October 8, 1926 in Palatine, Illinois and was the daughter of Edna and Elmer Walter. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 10, 2021 in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

She was raised in Palatine and later attended the Gregg School of Business. She worked for Hilton Hotels as an administrative assistant for several years.

Lois was a homemaker and for many years supported her husband in his insurance business. She enjoyed antiques, her gardens and traveling with her husband.

She married James Allen Hastings on May 5, 1951. They have two sons, Kim (Alyce) Hastings and Kevin (Gay Lynn) Hastings, three grandchildren: Jennifer Strasser, Tim Hastings and Emily Hastings and 3 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, Col. Lyle Walter.
