Laurel M. Bryk

A Memorial Visitation for Laurel M. Bryk, 84, of Palatine, will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. The Interment will be private.

Laurel was born on August 9, 1940, to John Sr. and Letty Bryk. She passed away on November 6, 2024, at St. Alexius Medical Center, Hoffman Estates, IL.

In her early years, she worked in Accounting and also as a Waitress, in addition to taking care of her 4 children. Her later years she became a Floral Designer.

Laurel was the loving mother of Scott Wallace, Brandon (Lorri) Wallace, Robert (Deanna) Wallace, and Nicole (Tony)Scaglione; beloved grandmother of Lauren Jemillo, Matthew Burba, Kaylee and Ashley Wallace, Nicholas and Samantha Wallace; fond sister of Nancy Buschmann and John F. Bryk Jr.

She was preceded in death by Letty Bryk, Nancy Buschmann and Alice Sum.
