Funeral Services for Krzysztof Rataj, 65, of Palatine, will be held on July 8, 2022, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Services, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 9:30 am, followed by Mass at St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Church at 10:00 am. The Interment will follow at St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Palatine IL

Krzysztof was the husband of Boguslawa Walusiak and father of Joanna Rataj. He immigrated to America from Poland when he was 29 years old. Worked as a very talented welder who was liked by many. Some of his favorite hobbies included detailing his car, watching the Poland soccer team, and cooking polish dishes from his childhood. His biggest accomplishment that he was always proud of was his daughter Joanna, who made him extremely proud every day.

He was taken too soon and will be terribly missed by many but especially by his wife and daughter.
