Karen M. Olson

Visitation for Karen Marie Olson (nee Keller), 65, of Palatine since 1999, will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Funeral Services will begin Saturday, September 24,  2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. The Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.

Karen was born February 6, 1957 in Elgin, and passed away unexpectedly, September 19, 2022 in Palatine.

Karen was a die hard Packers and Cubs Fan. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. Her cats Sophie and Gracie were her pride and joy. She enjoyed going out to eat, going on little getaways, Music and Sweets. She was the glue to her family.

Karen was the loving mother of Stacy (Juan) Simms, Jennifer (Joseph) Trevino, Sherry (Jim) Readdy, Tiffany Olson, Brian Pergola and Brandon Pergola; loving grandmother of Angel, Tony, Alexis, Joseph, Paige, Jimbo, Dani, Raelyn and Jayla. Also Great Grandmother to Aurora and Riley; dear daughter of the late Wayne and Doris (Nee Walter) Keller; fond sister of Gary, Mike and Cathy. Loving Aunt to Cheryl, Melinda, Ericka, Justin and the late Nathan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to Barbs Animal Rescue In Palatine.
