Judith P. Solarz

Visitation for Judith Pearl Solarz, 79, formerly of Hawthorn Woods, will be from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich IL. Family and friends will meet directly at Messiah Lutheran Church, 25225 W. Ivanhoe Road, Wauconda on Thursday, December 18, 2025 for the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Lake Zurich Cemetery, Lake Zurich, IL.

Judith was born on August 13, 1946 to Elmer and Harriet Nelson and died on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

Judith, a lover of art and animals, is now reunited with her husband Dennis who died in 1991. She also enjoyed watching movies and taking an active role as a grandmother. She will be deeply missed.

Judith was the beloved wife of the late Dennis Solarz; loving mother of Donna Espinosa, Jennifer (Dan) Kowalski, Chad (Becky) Solarz; cherished grandmother of Dominic, Joshua, Kelsey, Katy, Logan, Kara, Kassidy and Jennifer; and fond sister of the late Jeanne (the late Ken) Nelson and the late Darlene (the late Allan) Schmidt. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Lois (Edward) Bartman.
