Joseph F. Spatol

The Funeral Service and Interment for Joseph Francis Spatol, 82, of Hawthorn Woods since 1978, formerly of Frankfort, New York, will be private.

Joseph was born February 5, 1940, in Frankfort, New York, and passed away December 21, 2022, in Hawthorn Woods, Illinois.

Joseph was the beloved husband of Jean Ann Spatol (nee Patterson); loving father of Joseph (Theresa), Christopher (Elaine), Marc (Jennifer) and Frank (Tracey); loving grandfather of Joseph, Anthony (Morgan), Matthew, Michael, Benjamin, Jake, Anna and Shane; and dear great-grandfather of Snowe, Stone and Cruze.  He is also survived by his niece, Maryann (Scott) Murray; cousins, Rev. Kenneth Swain and Marybeth Boldt of New York; his sister-in-law, Rosalie Spatol; his great nephew, Joseph; and his great niece, Maria.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary (nee Maranto) Spatol; and his brothers, Carl Spatol and Francis Spatol.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations appreciated to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital or please plant a tree in memory of Joseph.
