Jordan G.Miller

December 1, 1987 — July 17, 2022

A Memorial Visitation for Jordan Garrett Miller, 34, of Palatine, IL, formally of Salem, WI, will be held Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the Memorial Visitation at 4:00 PM.  All friends and family are welcome to attend.

Jordan passed away suddenly and unexpectedly following back surgery on July 17, 2022.

Jordan made his dramatic entrance on December 1st 1987 in Boulder Colorado.  After graduating from Westosha Central High School in Paddock Lake, WI, he continued his education at University of Wisconsin, Parkside and New Jersey City University where he studied musical theater. He was an insanely talented vocalist and actor who commanded attention with his bright red beard and beautiful sky-blue eyes.  During his time here on earth, he found a way into everyone’s heart with his quick wit and infectious smile.  Jordan was funny and clever and grumpy in the way the truly good-hearted sometimes are.  He was someone whose heart broke for the injustice in the world but whose spirit remained unbroken by it.

Jordan was the dear son and best friend of Holly Simons Wells (Wally Klis); loving grandson of Philip and Joanne Simons; devoted brother of Hannah and Hailey Miller; fond nephew of Lisa Simons (Bruce Himelstein); loving grand-nephew of June Holmstrom (Paul Wallin), Sharon Novickas (Robert), Mark Holmstrom (Barbara); fond cousin to Ben Taibleson (Rebecca), Daniel Taibleson (Jessica), Mark Taibleson (Elizabeth), Rachel Novickas, Adam Novickas (Elaine), Sarah Holmstrom, Lande Holmstrom-Wetzel (Edmund), Larissa Gras (Joseph), Mara Wetzel, Jenna Wetzel (Matney Casey); loving and devoted dog/cat dad to Rula and Whisper.

Jordan Garrett will be dearly missed by many friends and acquaintances.
