A Celebration Of Life for Joanne Courtney will be held early January at Christ Lutheran Church in Palatine, IL

Joanne Courtney died peacefully November 24, 2021, surrounded by her children.  She was a devout Christian and looked forward to being with her beloved husband, her brother and Jesus Christ.  Joanne was always independent, confident and full of energy.  She was very generous with her gifts to charity, church and family.  She will be sadly missed, remembered fondly, and we rejoice that she is in a better place.

Joanne is survived by her children Cynthia Romanowski (Steven), Michael Courtney and Patrick Courtney (Cheryl); grandchildren Danielle LaChappelle (Courtney), Andrew Courtney, Stephen Romanowski and Tara Fasano (Romanowski); great grandchildren Nico, Luca, and Louie.

She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer C. Courtney and her brother Donald Hudson.
