Jo-Ann H. Miller

Visitation for Jo-Ann H. Miller, 84, of Des Plaines, will be held from 9:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am on Friday, August 23, 2024, at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, 342 E. Wood Street, Palatine. The Interment will be held privately at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie.

Jo-Ann traveled the world with her beloved husband of 61 years, Robert Miller. At home, she was an exceptional mother of two and an exceptional grandmother of three.

She was a talented interior designer who owned a business called Department of Interiors, Inc. and a graduate of the design program at Harper College in Palatine.

Jo-Ann is survived by her daughter, Linda (James) Humphrey; daughter-in-law, Amy Miller; grandchildren, Austin Miller, Jack Humphrey, and Isabel Humphrey; sisters, Patricia Kullowitch and Belle Lehman; brother, Jerry (Rose) Bonk; nine nieces and nephews, and many devoted friends.

Jo-Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son, Kenneth Miller; sister, Susan Mindak; brother, Robert Bonk; and brother-in-law, Richard Miller.
