Jeff passed away peacefully at home in Palatine, IL.  Beloved son, born October 30, 1964, to Joseph Horvath and the late Lois (nee Nemunaitis) in Mayfield Heights, OH.  Dear to his stepmother, Mary Horvath (nee DeLaVergne), for over 40 years.  Loving brother to his devoted sister, Donna Smith of Palatine.  Caring uncle “Ush” to Benjamin and Nathan Bosco of Palatine.  Nephew to his Aunt Yolanda Ebbing and dear cousin to many.

Jeff brought creativity, humor and steadfast devotion to the world.  He worked 30 years for Barnes & Noble.  In his 18 years of sobriety, he presented his unassuming genuine self to uplift and support others through AA.  He served countless friends and strangers in his lifetime with a quiet sensitivity.
